From the picture you can see these small round dots over each key. That is the tactile sensors or buttons. The buttons actually rise up from the screen and then disappear when they are not needed. So how does this work? It works by actually placing a layer over the Gorilla Glass that contains channels filled with micro-fluid. The additional fluid stretches and raises above the surface creating real buttons on what was a flat screen. It's almost like a magic show! Tactus Technology currently provides this technology to users through the purchase of a case or or cover but hopes it will be built into devices in the coming years.
